The Ghetto Bedskirt :)

Since I haven't had time to "Project" lately
I thought I would show you a little project I whipped up a while back....MONTHS AGO!!

That was A TOTAL EMBARRASSMENT :)
Seriously,
It doesn't get more DIY than this...
And PLEASE, PLEASE....
Avert you eyes if you are sensitive to ABUSE...

I mean like POTTERY BARN ABUSE....
Because this can easily be mistaken as NEGLIGENCE and QUITE FRANKLY MALICIOUS INTENT TO DESTROY A Gorgeous piece of BEAUTIFUL Pottern Barn COUTURE.

Ok, not Couture and I just rambled trying to make it seem like the MOST AMAZING,
MOST INCREDIBLE and IMPORTANT PIECE of pottery barn merchandise you have ever seen,

Really it was a GW snag...

Like $7 but it was CAL KING, this thing  must'a cost a million dollars

So, this is what's up with the "GHETTO" comment :)
I, yes, ME!!!!
SOOOO talented....Self Proclaimed CRAFT-ANISTA.....
(OHHH, do I just make up a new word...SOO gonna google it immediately NOWWWW)

EH, NO I didn't make it up...SOMEONE TOOK IT ALREADY :(

ANywhooo...YEs me, Amazing DIY-er,
Thrower-er Together-er of things that fall apart;
Decided to

CHOP IT UP!!!
and apply it to Little HELPERS twin size bed.

HOW SOOO YOU ASKKK??

STAPLE IT!! :) UH HUH, DUH!!!

GOOD OL' STAPLE GUN!!!
SO GHETTO... YUP, it proceeded to stay that way until I got to sewing it :)

So there you have it!!! AIN'T (I know that ain't a word) IT PURDY!!!!
HEHE....Sometimes you get the urge to just get it done and it must be NOWW, no matter the method...

KEEPIN' IT REAL!! :)

  1. I laugh as I go through this because I am not a good sewer and this looks like something I would do. I mean who looks under there anyways, the end result is fantastic

  4. Staples are awesome. I learned from my mom that if you are in a hurry, or even if you aren't, you can temporarily hem your pants with them, and staple from the inside. Ha ha! I love it! Looks cute! I am a new follower.
