I have been dreaming of making it happen.... :)
I was counting bunnies to sleep. 'Member these guys :)
|Look at those precious toesies :)|
But I told my self NO, I don't want to start collecting more STUFF!!
I really love decorating for Holidays
But I do NOT like having STUFF everywhere!
(And our house is NOT small, or big)
Anywhoo, it is SPRING BREAK 'round these parts
(although I don't get to part take :( )
And I thought, MUST GET IT DONE!
I picked up some white eggs from HobLob....
77 cents for a dozen
To my surprise they had all white! WHEW!
(I had anticipated this part of the project being a little more work,
like painting the eggs white and how am I gonna keep them from toppling over to dry) SHEESH!
But NO, the Craft Heavens made ALL WHITE EGGS!
YAY FOR ME, I KNOW! :)
In true THROWER-ER TOGETHER-ER fashion..
instead of painting the letters on each egg,
I grabbed a sharpie and wrote them on! (not my eyebrows, the letters :)
[San Antonio, Tx joke :)]
ADM! (like OMG, Aye Dios Mio)
I get disappointed in myself when I do this, cuz I'm like WHAT THE HEY??
shoulda did it right the first time :(
Grabbed the bunnies, fishing line to tie them on the branches
and hot glued the line on top of each egg!
URGH, lemme' tell you
MY EGGS KEPT SPINNING!!!!!
AHHHHH! So I could not get a great picture. :(
( I even tried weighing them down with RAISINS)
What 'Ev......I LIKE IT!
Now I coulda' went the extra mile and and did this to the branches like CASA GENTIS
It would be so gorgeous...
Follow the tutorial E-Z P-Z!
(When we did our branches we hot glued hydrangea petals all over them)
So, now I have my PB tablescape at a TINY FRACTION OF THE COST!
The bunnies cost me= $4 PB bunnies $39 each
Hoblob eggs= 77 cents PB eggs $19 for set
