PB Inspired Dream Catchers

I wanted these for little helper's room sooo bad... I just think they are so Whimsical!
They are $30 a piece....
I mean that's, NOT TOO CRAZY, I guess!

But in my CHEAPO nature,
I CAN MAKE THESE, SOMEHOW!!
Well, as shown here I came across something I thought I could use..
.99 cents for the set.
Some kind of Christmas tree Branch things! :) Or Pottery Barn Dream Catchers!!

OHHHHHHHHH YEAH!!!!!
I cut the silver binding off and then the beads were exposed allowing me to add more beads to the wire and make a ring big enough.

Did this a few more times and glittered some $1 HOBLOB birds and hot glued everything together. I think once Little Helper's room is done they are gonna look

SO STINKIN' CUTE! :)
I am pleased with the outcome and only spent a total of $2.

I have MANY, MANY, MANY more beads to make about two more dream catchers, and then I will need another set of birds, which will leave me at a
GRAND TOTAL OF $3!!

I LOVE IT!! THESE PICTURES DON'T DO THEM JUSTICE!! :(

  4. Ah, I love them! I definitely dogeared that page in the PB Kids catalog. If they only want $35 for something... you know you should be able to make it for less than $5!!

    Love it!

  6. These are adorable! I like yours better than the PB ones. I've been doing a bunch of PB inspired projects, too. Love their stuff, but can't stomach the prices. I'm sure your little one is thrilled to see those dream catchers floating above. Thanks for sharing.

  12. Hey I know this is off topic but I was wondering if you
knew of any widgets I could add to my blog that automatically tweet my newest twitter updates.

I've been looking for a plug-in like this for quite some time and was
hoping maybe you would have some experience with something like this.

Please let me know if you run into anything.
I truly enjoy reading your blog and I look forward to your new updates.
