I have taken people's property and ripped it up to glue gun it to Lord knows what....I admit it and am not ready to let it go....

Seriously, I never saw her wear it but, it was stashed in her desk like a backup 'just in case'

I saw this jacket and it had a BURLAP-Y, TWEED, LINEN fabric.

Really, who wears burlap?!?!?  Unless you're a POTATO!!

I decided I would make a wreath from this JACKET!?

Burlap and Blue..Inspired by burlap and blue blog!

I know she looks unfinished with the raw edges but I like that about it. She's in my bathroom that I am redecorating kinda shabby chic.

I don't have a tutorial for this project because I did it a very long time ago and did not take shots of the process. But it is very easy.

1. Visit your local Goodwill (they usually have them .99 cents) or Craft store and purchase a wreath form.(this one was straw.)
2. Cut 2 inch strips of your fabric. (This was UGLY jacket fabric. :))
3. Turn on your glue gun.
4. Wrap you strips around the wreath at an angle one at a time trying to end in the back
5. Dab glue on the wreath and adhere the fabric
6. Decorate the wreath after its covered.

[Wreath .99 cents, and I'll count the lace (.99 cents at hancock fabrics on sale) but I bought it for something else but it wasn't enough. Ribbon from a friend and flower scrap fabric from a previous project.]
